iNano Tonometer
iNano tonometer is used to measure intraocular pressure (IOP), which plays a critical role in assessing glaucomatous conditions. iNano tonometer provides a more precise and faster measurement result of the IOP.
Compared to the current applanationtonometers iNano tonometer develops an in-fiber Fabry-Perot interferometer (FPI) measure method for IOP. It brings three advantages: miniature size, quick detection and high precision.
iNano tonometer has the potential to eliminate the anesthetic eye drop and the long waiting time before the exam (average 20 mins). This helps reduce the discomfort of patient feels and illuminate the long recovery time.
